Steve has over 18 years of M&A and corporate finance experience. He has completed a range of engagements including mergers, acquisitions, sales, divestitures, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, debt and equity financings, strategic alternative reviews and fairness and solvency opinions on behalf of private equity firms, public corporations and private company clients.

His recent transactions include: the sale of Mettis Aerospace, a portfolio company of Saints Chamonix Private Equity, to Stirling Square Capital; the divestiture of HITCO Carbon Composites from SGL Carbon SE to Avcorp Industries; the sale of Universal Turbine Parts, a portfolio company of Goldner Hawn Johnson & Morrison, to ICV Capital; the sale of SOS Metals Group to Precision Castparts Corp.; the sale of Trans World Alloys to Precision Castparts Corp.; the spin-off of L-3 Communications’ government services unit, Engility; and the sale of Semco Instruments to TransDigm Group.

Steve began his career as an analyst in the Private Placements Group at Libra Investments (Libra Securities), an investment banking firm specializing in middle-market transactions.


Steve received his B.A. in Political Science and Asian Studies from Tufts University. He is a FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 registered representative. He is the Chairman and President of the Association for Corporate Growth - Los Angeles (ACG LA). Steve serves on the Executive Committee of the SoCal Aerospace Council and is also a member of the Tufts Alumni Admissions Program, Junior Achievement Leadership Council and Pacific Business Resource Group. He is a frequent speaker on topics concerning M&A and financings to attorneys, accountants and board members.
